Sterling was founded in 2000 with a capital base at J$19.5 million, nearly four times the stipulated capital requirement of $5 million.
The company is licensed and regulated by the Securities Commission of Jamaica and delivers investment management expertise and advice across most asset classes and global markets to corporate, institutional and individual investors.

Global Alliances
The Sterling commitment to the preservation of capital and greater transparency in handling clients' affairs is enhanced by its close working relationship with internationally renowned US brokerage houses, Oppenheimer & Co., Morgan Keegan & Co. and Deutsche Bank. They are all large brokerage houses in the US and they are able to execute transactions in all the major capital markets of the world. They have very large and sound capital bases, and are custodians of the Sterling global investment portfolio.
